I recorded this song a few weeks after the bombing, when really I was only just coming out of shock and it became the 'survivor's anthem'. It's far from perfect. I spent a few nights arranging the piano part to keep myself distracted while I was scared to sleep, had to sing through tears, and I can't mix or master well at the minute but I did the best I could. I didn't know really whether to set it free or not but was encouraged by those close to me, and now it feels like the right thing to do.
